This is a five-week workshop providing post-wildfire forest management education. Through Zoom sessions led by trusted UC experts, forest landowners and interested community members will learn best practices for managing post-fire landscapes. Workshop attendees will meet weekly from February 6-March 20, with an in-person field trip on March 22.
Topics covered during the workshop include:
- Reforestation: how and when?
- Competing and resprouting vegetation
- Financial and professional assistance programs
- Ongoing forest maintenance
