Intro To CERT- Disaster Preparedness And Basic Radio Communications

This training session is open to the community and prospective CERT members.

For community participants, the training will provide an introduction to the CERT program, critical information they can use to prepare for a disaster. Basic Radio Communications will inform the community about our GOTA program to provide free GMRS radios and how to use radios for disaster communications.

For Prospective CERT members this training provides a very basic introduction to the CERT program.

For prospective new CERT members you will need to take the FEMA online course IS-317.a, Introduction to CERT, this course is required to become a CERT member.

This training will be indoors.
