
Doom the Broom- Forest Ranch

Join the Forest Ranch Fire Safe Council this Saturday for a Doom the Broom volunteer event. Continue the good work of the BEEP (Broom Education and Eradication Program) and help remove invasive broom plants from Forest Ranch Charter School and targeted areas of Highway 32. This effort improves community wildfire safety, supports forest health, and improves evacuation safety. Volunteers will check in at Forest Ranch Charter School before heading out in small groups to remove Broom along Highway 32.
When: Saturday, March 22nd from 9 am -12 pm
Where: Meet at the Forest Ranch Charter School at 9 am
What to Bring: Water bottle, clothes suitable for work, sun protection, and personal gloves (if owned)

Tools, loaner gloves, and snacks will be provided. This event supports match hours for both Firewise USA and project work in Forest Ranch by the Butte County Fire Safe Council. We hope you can join us!
