Our goal is to make the park a beautiful and useful community space for many years to come while focusing on native, drought tolerant, and firewise trees. This event is organized in partnership with Paradise Recreation and Park District, Butte Environmental Council, and the Camp Fire Restoration Project.
Between our collective organizations we have many trees to plant of various species and sizes including Blue Oak, Black Oak, Ponderosa Pine, Incense Cedar, and many more! We will need a lot of help getting these trees in the ground and setting them up to thrive for many years, and we would love to have any help possible for either one or both days.
Accompanied by an introductory forest therapy walk to start the event, along with a live bio char production demonstration, and a native tree give away for participants.
Everyone is welcome!
