Adopt a Forest/Make a Difference Day

Volunteers Needed!
The Butte County Fire Safe Council and U.S. Forest Service will host two volunteer projects as part of Love Paradise’s Make a Difference Day. Adopt a Forest is an annual partnership event with the U.S. Forest Service to engage community members in forest health and wildfire recovery efforts.
Project 1) McNabb Cypress Restoration
Remove invasive broom plants threatening the regrowing rare McNabb Cypress at the meeting of Skyway and Coutolenc.
Project 2) Trash removal to prepare for prescribed fire on Hupp Coutolenc Road.
Make a Difference Day includes a morning volunteer kick-off and post-service volunteer lunch.
