Adopt a Forest / Make a Difference Day
October 25 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
Volunteers Needed!
Join the Butte County Fire Safe Council and the U.S. Forest Service as part of Love Paradise’s Make a Difference Day. Adopt a Forest is an annual partnership event with the U.S. Forest Service to engage community members in forest health and wildfire recovery efforts.
This year we need volunteer support to remove invasive broom plants where the rare McNab Cypress trees are regrowing after the Camp Fire. Volunteers will help pile previously pulled plants for burning this winter and pull new growth.
Register through Golden Volunteers.
