The Paradise Grazing Festival
June 11, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Announcing: The Paradise Grazing Festival!
Join a herd of goats, Butte County Fire Safe Council (BCFSC), and Paradise Recreation & Parks District for the first-ever Paradise Grazing Festival on June 11, 2022!
We’re celebrating nature’s first firefighters with a day dedicated to learning all about how goats can help protect our community! By eating their way through shrubs and flammable vegetation, goats can create hundreds of acres of defensible space every year!
This Festival Will be A-Grazing!
Bring the whole family for a day of community education and entertainment.
Breakfast: 8-11 a.m. at Paradise Community Park (Train Park)
Pancakes, sausage, coffee, and orange juice served by Butte County Sheriff’s very own Captain Bob’s Pancake Wagon. $10/person. Get your tickets here.
Goat Herding: 9-10 a.m. at Paradise Community Park
Help us walk the goats up The Paradise Memorial Trailway! They’ll be loaded into a trailer after crossing Elliott Rd and then unloaded at Terry Ashe Recreation Center to kick off the day’s festivities. Donate to walk here.
Eating, Shopping, and Goating: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Terry Ashe Recreation Center
Live music, shopping, food, refreshments, and BCFSC wildfire educational programs and resources.
